A new legend of Zelda video game will be released anytime soon. It is an instalment for the Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda series.  There is no specific information being about this new game except for  the fact that it will be a continuation of the previous game with Nintendo’s next generation platform.

This years instalment is actually the sixteenth instalment of this game. It is confirmed that this new version utilizes Wii Motion Plus peripheral for sword fighting and archery both for staples and series. According to some sources this game is being developed for five years. With this span of time of developing, I think it well made and will surely bring out so much fun for everyone.

Actually, The Legend of Zelda is only the tentative title of this year’s Zelda series.  It is being called and developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development. Nintendo has never revealed anything concrete as of the moment which is good I think in order to make their followers get more excited about this game.

According to rumors, this games mechanic and gameplay is complete. Nintendo is currently polishing up games story and characters. At the start you will be able to choose from right or left handed.  Link’s sword is also unique with this game.  But this information is not confirmed by Nintendo yet, but for sure they will create a great game.

de Blob is returning to our Wiis later this year, 2D segments in tow

We love de Blob when it debuted back on the Wii in 2008. The Aussie developed title was a not only a commercial, but critical hit and it was one of the first third party games to find real success on Wii. This year Blob is back in de Blob: The Underground.

The evil Comrade Black of the INKT Corporation is back and causing all sorts of trouble. Blob and his new robot ally, Pinky, head to Prisma City, where Comrade Black has taken on a new guise and is again causing trouble. The game will now also have 2D platforming gameplay as well as 3D gameplay.

The information we have so far on de Blob: The Underground has been revealed in a early release from the Nintendo Power folk. Expect more information when the full issue hits or the E3. Whatever comes first.

A mix of 2D and 3D for Wii and a dual screen frenzy on DS

Sega, not content with just one Sonic game this year for the Wii, has announced Sonic Colours (Colors in the US). The game was just announced last night and while the trailer that came with the announcement doesn’t show much, the attached PR does.

The game on the Nintendo DS will make use of the dual screens while the Wii will have a mix of 3D and 2D gameplay. The game takes place on a playground orbiting a planet on which an alien race is being imprisoned by the evil Dr. Eggman. You can use the aliens rare coloured energy to become more powerful. Different colours unlock different abilites and powers.

Sonic Colours will be available only on the Wii and DS later this year. Expect to see more of it at E3 2010. Sounds like Sega are going for a super fast style with this one.

Users just have to drop the remote, with or without the jacket, onto either of the two docks to get started. As a bonus, there are two overhead USB ports for other gadgets.
