Sports

I’ve only played Wii Sports three times since I bought a Wii back in March. I took it out again today to play it and I looked at the back of the disk. It’s all scratched from being in the cardboard sleeve. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. It’s so badly scratched that I may not be able to play it anymore. It’s just my opinion, but I think Nintendo should replace the disk because I’ve barely used it and you can’t buy Wii Sports separately in stores. What do you think?
Nope, no one else plays the game. And I don’t store it under stuff. What is the phone number for Nintendo? Can I contact them through email?

How can i fix this wii pointer problem?

There is a lot of ‘What is the best Wii game?’ questions, but I’m looking for a Wii game that utilizes the motion-sensitive controller that makes the gameplay different than on other consoles such as PS3 and Xbox360. The game uses movements and coordination that other consoles can’t incorporate in their game.
Thanks for the suggestions. I have another thing to add: Are there any good tennis or boxing games (apart from Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort) within the criteria I have given earlier? Thanks!

What is the best Wii game that utilizes the controller more than other consoles?

I’ve connected my wii to my pc monitor using a tvbox.

The wii gets connected to the tvbox(TVB) with the standard cable provided with the wii, a red, yellow and white cable which then goes into an s-video on the TVB.Then the monitor gets connected to the TVB via vga. My pc video card also connects to the TVB to enable me to use the pc aswell.

The problem is that the green seems to be missing from the picture. This doesn’t stop me playing but is alittle annoying. I will eventually get a TV to connect it to but in the mean time will connecting the wii with the other type of cable get me my green. The cable I mean is the one with white and red and the red, blue and green. Not sure of the name but I think it is called a component cable.

If anyone knows about this type of stuff or has had the same problem then please let me know.
I can’t try another tv because I don’t have one yet. I will eventually get a tv but this is a short term fix. Nintendo can’t help because your not meant to connect through a TVB.
Ok yet more details.
I only seem to be missing green when playing wii sports or at the main wii menu.

Tiger woods seems to work fine.

Wii Problem connecting to monitor with tvbox?

EA Sports Active is an awesome game that is designed to keep you fit by working out specific parts of your body. Have a look at the following trailer to see EA Sports Active in action.

What do you make of this Nintendo Wii game?

One of the best things about video games is that it takes you back to simpler times. I remember playing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! as a kid and the amount of time and devotion that went into learning by heart when it was secure to go for Iron mike or when a punch was going to come at me from Bald Bull. It was totally insane! The accomplishment I felt from beating Mike Tyson for the first time was indescribable and you better believe I invited the neighbour kids over to witness my accomplishment.

The Awesome 8-bit Punch Out of my childhood. The amazing Punch-Out! graphics today!

Nintendo chose to bring back this old favourite! although 8-bit glory for Little Mac and Doc Louis is a thing of the past, from the looks of this new game it appears that Next Level Games is going for a cartoon looking game which is not that bad. Luckly this is a Nintendo classic game as I don't believe that XBOX or PS3 would do it justice. This version of Punch Out! is as you would expect (from the trailers anyway) going to deliver much of what we used to love as kids with the added benefits of awesome graphics, with the use of the classic controller for those of your who want to play the old way (yay! just like when we were kids), if you do not feel like going old school you can use the Wii mote and Nunchuck to throw punches and block.

The new Punchout! will have 13 fighters. With old favourites such as Von Kaiser and Glass Joe and new ones like Disco Kid. Punch-Out! will be out on the 19th of May. Below are some cool teaser trailers!
