Can you hack a Wii game so that you can Have different characters in a game?

Hi. I was wondering if it was possible to add/subtract/replace characters in wii games but keep them playable on the Wii? Because if so, I need someone who knows how to add/subtract/replace some characters in a game of mine. If so, I will provide the models and Specifications. Thank you
