This week's story about a group of RPG fans pressuring Nintendo to localize two Japanese RPGs for the Wii seemed to strike a chord with readers, many of whom are no doubt dreaming of what kinds of games they could force into existence with their own grassroots group. Also this week, we talked about how NASA became an unlikely contributor to the level design in snowboarding title SSX, and a story about some disturbing, sexist comments at a fighting game tournament spurred a lengthy comment discussion about inclusiveness in gaming communities.
I'll be at the Game Developers Conference next week, checking out games and talking to developers all week. If you happen to spot me in or around the Moscone Center, feel free to say hi.
