The Last Airbender is a new action-adventure film starring Slumdog Millionaire's Dev Patel, Twilight's Jackson Rathbone and newcomer Noah Ringer. It's based on the first season of the animated TV series 'Avatar: The Last Airbender,' and is the first movie in a planned trilogy, but beyond the film, THQ is releasing a Last Airbender video game exclusively for Nintendo Wii and DS/DSi.

The film follows Aang and his journey to the North Pole to find a Waterbending master to teach him the ancient craft. However, the video game is uniquely told from the perspective of the antagonist Zuko. Zuko was exiled from Fire Nation and tries to capture the Avatar, a.k.a. Aang, to get back in his father's good graces.

Players will be challenged to master their "bending" skills as Aang, Katara, Haru, or Sokka, each with their own trademark weapon and unique fighting style. Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, players will battle it out in hand-to-hand combat, and learn how to manipulate air and fire into forces such as Air Vortexes, Tornadoes, Fire Balls, and Fire Bombs.
