Capcoms COO says there might be, but doesnt really know

Theres been a great swell of support from third parties for the Wii U, whether or not it all plays out in 18 months remains to be seen, but were optimistic. One developer who hasnt said squat about the system is Capcom, as theyve been too busy cancelling 3DS games you see.

But that doesnt mean they dont care; according the COO of Capcom, David Reeves, there could be something Wii U-related from the company heading to the Tokyo Game Show. Speaking to ME Gamers, Reeves had to say the following:

"Capcom haven’t announced anything officially on Wii U. I think they have done prototypes. There are only so many things you can get ready for E3 [laughs]. But they might show something at the Tokyo Games Show which is where Wii U is more focused on. I haven’t seen anything personally myself but since the companies are quite close, I am sure they must be looking at something."

As you can tell hes super confident in this, so dont get too disappointed if nothing comes from it.
