New Paper Mario 3D screens and trailer, gameplay looks similar to the first two games

Paper Mario 3D was announced at last years E3 conference and since then has had pretty much nothing revealed about it. That is, until yesterday, when Nintendo released a brand new trailer for the game showing the series return to a more traditional RPG format similar to the first two Paper Mario games, as opposed to the side-scrolling action RPG gameplay of Super Paper Mario on Wii.

The new trailer shows off the environments as well as the battle system, which will return to the turn-based, combo-filled system utilised in previous Paper Mario games. No release date has been announced as of yet, with Nintendo not even mentioning it during their press conference, which means that the game probably wont see a release until next year, although wed love to be proven wrong.
